Wedding Signage to Consider for Your Upcoming Wedding

Wedding signage has become necessary to help guide your guests throughout your event while helping to incorporate your style as a couple.

Not only can you have fun brainstorming your wedding signage, but you’re also helping your guests out. Wedding signs help your event run smoothly by helping guests understand what to expect, where to go, and how to find the dance floor!

A List of Wedding Signage to Consider

Before spilling the tea on the list, remember that this does not mean you NEED to have every single one of these but this is also a fun area to get creative and let your personality shine!

Now some examples of signage you might want to think about, while of course, keeping in mind what fits your budget:

Welcome sign

Guestbook sign

Cards and gifts sign

Wedding hashtag

In memory of sign

Program Sign

Order of Events

Unplugged ceremony sign

Ceremony seating sign

Reserved seating sign

Seating Chart for dinner/reception

Directional sign

Parking sign

Restroom signs

Table number signs

Cocktail hour signs

Cocktail hour games

Dinner menu

Dessert menu

Bar signage

Signature cocktails

Favors sign

Thank you sign

Reception games/ activities

These are just to name a few! You don’t need to include every single sign in your wedding, but consider the ones that work best with your style and help your guest out.

Get Creative with Wedding Signage

A lot of people tend to overcomplicate their wedding signs! Whether you make them from wood, acrylic, or something entirely different, the sky is the limit! My recommendation is to choose 1-2 areas and have fun with them!

GET CREATIVE WITH THEM!

You can make a giant installation with ombre letters addressed to each of your guests as the ‘seating chart’.

You can make an “it’s time to party” neon sign and add it to a champagne wall.

You can even make a beautiful “A-frame” welcome sign with potted flowers!

Another fun idea to try is making guest book signage out of old records that are customized with your photo on it!

Seriously, the possibilities are endless and there are ways to turn dull ‘signage' into an experience for your guests which makes it worth wild!
